BENJAMIN BARNES: In his “Books Are Magic!” lecture, Benjamin will teach you hidden gems and techniques from his favorite magic books — including the piece he used to fool Penn & Teller on national television!
JASON SURAN: In “Schmentalism,” one of the most in-demand mentalists gives you everything you need to take your craft to the next level, covering a variety of methods and presentations he uses in his own work at NYC’s hit show Speakeasy Magick.
PUCK: In “Stand Up Guy: the Lecture,” you will gain insights on how Puck invents, develops, and creates the magic he performs, and how you can put together the props for these routines to structure a solid stand-up show.
MARK KALIN & JINGER: “Putting the Pieces Together – A Lecture For Magicians” covers Kalin & Jinger’s creative process, the methods they’ve developed over the years that have been used extensively used by others, and how to best prepare an effect or an act.
DAVE KAPLAN: “Tips, Tricks, and Stunts” is presented in a comedic fashion, and involves theory, tricks, gags, and advice that can be put to use in real-world situations. Dave uses tricks from his walk-around and stage act to illustrate ideas about presentation, comedy, character and creativity.
