Dec. 2 Meeting: Gift Exchange/Pros Show

The regular December meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Lyceum will feature The First Great Magic Exchange, where members can bring a new or gently used magic trick complete with instructions — valued at $25+ — in excellent condition that is not being used for whatever reason.  Bring it, and trade it for something you’ll actually perform. The procedure is simple: write the name of the magic trick on a card, place it on the exchange table, and give the room a quick 30-second pitch. Draw a number at random and, in that order, each participant claims any trick on the table except their own. 

The second part of our year-end meeting will celebrate, live on The Lyceum stage, several Ring 50 magicians currently performing in theaters, restaurants, and residencies across the region. We’ve been proud to promote their shows in the Magi-Gram and on our social channels. On Dec. 2, several of them will perform one routine from their current shows. This will hopefully whet our appetites to bring our families and friends out to support our fellow Ring 50 performers in 2027.
